My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from the river Neckar with a lovely seating area to admire the old town. However, the rooms lacked a few essentials like soundproofing from street noise and an in-room safe, and the dining options got monotonous after a while.

However, the dated and cheap furnishings detracted from the overall ambiance. The service had its ups and downs - while most staff members were friendly and professional, there were instances of forgetfulness and rudeness. The location was excellent with beautiful views and proximity to the town and historic old town but felt a bit unsafe due to graffiti and rubbish bins. The dining experience was decent, typical European buffet style, with friendly staff but lacking variety. Overall, I had a somewhat satisfactory stay but with room for improvement.
